Matthew
When Resistance Comes
Matthew 14
Jesse Reed · New Hope Fellowship ·
Summary
When we step out in faith and things fall apart, it is easy to wonder if God is even paying attention. Matthew 14 reminds us that resistance does not mean God has stepped away. It often means He is moving. John the Baptist spoke truth boldly, even knowing the cost, while Herod wore a crown but was controlled by the crowd around him. True courage comes from letting God's Word correct us first and spending time in the presence of Jesus. Even when John was killed and it looked like resistance had won, God's plan was not stopped. Whatever chapter you are in right now, no matter how hard it is, it is not the end of your story.
